“ This place is amazing. They are a "mom and pop" place with the freshest of ingredients that are quality. They make the pizza from scratch and it is always a flavor explosion for your senses! Johnny is very friendly and definitely trying to help support local community in what he does. The electric works site is great and I hope it can continue to expand and give the businesses a premiere location for people to flock to regularly. It is worth the trip to try Johnny Ox pizza! From the high quality ingredients (I mean... they make their own sausage!), the delectable crust, and second-to-none Customer Service, you can’t go wrong. Johnny Ox Pizzeria made it clear—well in advance at 1:30 PM—that they would be closing early due to a private corporate event hosted by the Do it best corp, which was completely out of their control. This is a locally owned, family-run, Black-owned business that bends over backward to serve the community with quality ingredients and real love in their food. Life happens. Unexpected things pop up. But blaming a business for something they communicated openly and didn’t cause themselves? That’s unfair. If you’re going to drive an hour for pizza, check their social media or call ahead, just like you would for any great spot. And trust me—it’s worth the trip. The pizza is , the people are kind, and you’ll always leave full and happy when you actually try it. Let’s support local businesses that care, not drag them down for things beyond their control. ”

All of them were phenomenal, even if it was just a slice of pepperoni. The crust has a beautiful char on it and it’s crunchy but also soft at the same time. I’ve had pizza from almost every spot in Fort Wayne, so trust me when I say that this joint is the place you’re looking for. Can’t wait to try the vegan pepperoni next. ”
